HHO Tek™ is owned by Trevor Hunter and Joshua Gantt. We started playing with hydrogen years ago, using just a Tupperware container and some stainless steel hose clamps. We did not initially put it to any use other than letting our friends watch us pop the hydrogen bubbles. Josh ran across some research that suggested that it could be used in cars to improve fuel mileage. We were actually very skeptical of this at first; it took quite a bit of testing before we were convinced. It took us a few months to develop something that we could actually sell, it was the HHO1V1. I have been asked many times what that number represents well its actually quite simple we launched the 1v1 first then for larger applications we simply put 2 1v1s together this became our 2v1 (2 cells of version 1).
We are constantly improving our designs such as our 1v2. It has gone through significant changes since its debut. As our newsletter subscribers know, we are always trying new designs and new approaches to creating hydrogen. It's amazing that no matter how many tests we do and how many plate configurations we test, we discover that our original configuration is the best. We have come along ways from those late nights in the shop blowing lids off Tupperware containers and scaring the neighbors.
We have seen many companies come and go throughout this past year and yet we are still here. I believe this is attributed to our insane dedication to making the best possible product we can, and by providing unprecedented customer service. It is only me and Josh that handle all the calls and emails but thanks to Blackberry PDAs we are available to our customers no matter where we are (our girlfriends really love that aspect). The bottom line is we are just a couple of guys from North Carolina who are determined to provide you with the highest quality products possible. In the past year this has went from a small link on my Jeep off-road parts website and EBAY, to what you see here and an R&D shop that is open to visitors (upon signing a NDA) and a manufacturing facility. The growth and acceptance of this technology has been unbelievable.
